PNC - Management Silent on Future Direction?

It's getting a bit unsettling here at PNC. We've had a couple of all-hands meetings lately, and the messaging around future growth and stability feels… generic. When folks ask about potential impacts from the current economic climate or industry trends, the answers are always vague, something about 'adapting' and 'focusing on core strengths.' But there's no real substance. My team's workload has been steadily increasing, and we're expected to do more with less, yet there's no clarity on where the company is headed long-term. It makes it hard to stay motivated when you feel like you're just treading water and management isn't being upfront about what's happening or what might come. Anyone else feeling this lack of transparency and struggling to get straight answers about the bank's strategic direction?

I'm feeling the same way. It's tough to stay motivated when you don't have a clear picture of where the company is headed. The 'adapting' and 'core strengths' talk feels like a script that's being rolled out everywhere. I wish they'd be more transparent about the challenges and how they plan to navigate them. It would at least help put our minds at ease and understand the rationale behind the increased workload.

That vagueness is definitely a concern. It's understandable to want reassurance, especially with all the economic uncertainty. Hopefully, the leadership team has a solid plan in the works, even if they can't share all the details publicly right now. It would be great to see some concrete examples of how they're investing in growth or supporting employees through these times. Let's hope for more clarity soon.
