PNC - Performance reviews and 'impact' metrics feeling intense

Anyone else feel like the performance review process at PNC has become significantly more scrutinized lately? My manager's been pushing really hard on 'demonstrating impact' and tying everything back to specific business outcomes. It feels a lot more high-stakes than usual, and honestly, a bit like they're building a case for something. I've seen a few people who are usually solid performers getting marked down for not hitting some pretty lofty, almost impossible, targets. Just wondering if this is a trend across the bank or if my specific area is under a microscope. Getting a bit antsy given the current economic climate.

Totally feel you on this. The 'impact' talk has definitely ramped up. It feels like they're trying to quantify everything to an extreme, and if you can't tie a direct dollar amount to your work, it's suddenly not valuable. I've noticed the pressure too, and it makes you second-guess even routine tasks. Hoping it's just a phase and not the new normal, because it's creating a lot of anxiety around here.
