Is the Livonia site feeling the heat again?

I’ve been tracking the WARN notices and it feels like we’re back in a cycle similar to that 2019 Livonia reduction. With the current market volatility and the way leadership is talking about 'operational efficiency' in the recent town halls, I’m getting massive déjà vu. Is anyone else hearing whispers about further headcount reductions, or is this just standard end-of-quarter paranoia? It feels like we are constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop. If anyone in the Michigan operations has heard anything concrete or noticed a uptick in 'restructuring' meetings, please drop a hint. Just trying to figure out if I should start updating the resume this weekend or if I'm overthinking the corporate speak.

When they start throwing around the term 'operational efficiency' during town halls, you know exactly what’s coming next. I was at the Livonia plant during the 2019 cuts, and the atmosphere today feels identical. The management team loves to hide behind corporate jargon while we sit here wondering if our department is next on the chopping block. If you’re seeing the writing on the wall, start updating your resume now. Don't wait for the official email to arrive, because by then, the severance packages are usually already locked in and non-negotiable. Trust your gut on this one.
