PPG - Anyone else seeing hiring slowdown/freeze?

Hey everyone, I'm in the hiring side of things at PPG and we've seen a pretty significant slowdown in requisitions being approved over the last quarter. We're also being told to hold off on posting many roles, even for critical positions. On top of that, some of the budget approvals for next year's headcount are looking grim. It's not a layoff announcement, but it's definitely giving off "hiring freeze" vibes, which often isn't far behind. Has anyone outside of HR noticed this? Are external candidates seeing fewer opportunities open up? Just trying to gauge the broader impact. Feels like a precursor to something, and not necessarily a positive one.
