PPL - Feeling the pressure, what's next?

Lately, things at PPL have felt... tense. We've been seeing a lot of 'do more with less' messaging, and project scopes seem to be tightening up. It's not just the usual year-end budget crunch, either. There's a feeling of something bigger shifting, but no one's saying anything directly. I've seen some roles that were recently posted now seem to be on hold, and internal transfers are getting put on the back burner. It makes you wonder what the long-term plan is. Are we heading towards some kind of consolidation or restructuring? It’s creating a lot of anxiety for people who are just trying to do their jobs and provide for their families. Would appreciate any insights or information, even unofficial, if people are willing to share. Trying to stay grounded but it's tough with all the speculation.

Yeah, I've been feeling that too. The 'streamlining' talk is definitely louder than usual. It's hard not to get a bit anxious when you see job postings disappear or transfers stalled. Makes you wonder if there's a larger restructuring on the horizon or if it's just a phase. Hopefully, we'll get some clearer communication soon so everyone can get a better sense of where things are headed.

The 'do more with less' mantra is really starting to bite. It feels like we're constantly being asked to stretch ourselves thinner without any real explanation for why. The lack of transparency about the job holds and stalled transfers is unsettling. I'm trying to stay optimistic, but it's tough when you feel like you're flying blind.
