Anyone else seeing shifts in responsibilities or team structures at Principal?

Noticing some pretty significant changes happening across different teams here at Principal. It's not outright layoffs, but more like a subtle shuffling of responsibilities and some roles being absorbed elsewhere. Heard from a colleague in another division that their team size is down, and their work is now being distributed. Another friend mentioned their manager had a series of 're-org' meetings. It feels like they're trying to streamline things, but the lack of clear communication is making it unsettling. Has anyone else experienced this? Curious to know if this is a company-wide initiative or localized. Trying to stay ahead of any potential changes to my own role.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed some rumblings. It's more of a quiet restructuring than anything dramatic, but you can feel the shifts. My team's workload has certainly increased as certain functions seem to be consolidating. It's making things a bit unpredictable, and honestly, the communication hasn't been the clearest. Hopefully, it leads to some positive efficiencies down the line, but right now it's a bit unsettling for everyone involved.

Interesting to hear others are feeling it too. My department hasn't had any major reshuffles announced, but there's a definite undercurrent of 'things are changing'. We've seen some new project assignments that feel like they're filling gaps left elsewhere, and a few familiar faces have moved on without much fanfare. It creates a bit of uncertainty when you're not sure what the 'new normal' looks like, especially with less transparency.
