The leadership team here loves hiding behind corporate jargon, but the pattern is impossible to ignore at this point. Whenever I hear 'operational efficiency,' I immediately start updating my resume because it has become code for downsizing. It’s impossible to feel secure when the communication is so vague and dismissive of the actual workforce. They aren't building a roadmap; they are just trimming the budget to satisfy shareholders and boost those quarterly numbers. The transparency is non-existent, and it’s clearly taking a toll on everyone's morale.
I’ve been watching the same signals and honestly, I don't think it’s just paranoia. The shift since July feels like a deliberate attempt to clear the decks for whatever is coming next. It’s frustrating because we’re the ones expected to pick up the slack after every 'realignment' while management celebrates their supposed cost savings. Don't waste your energy waiting for a clear explanation from the top. Just focus on your own pivot and make sure you’re positioned well elsewhere before the next wave hits the floor.
