I've seen a few successful internal moves in my time here. The key seems to be demonstrating a clear understanding of the new role's requirements and how your existing skills translate. Networking within the teams you're interested in, even informally, can also make a big difference. Managers are generally supportive if you can show you're committed to Prologis and have a solid plan.
It's definitely a good point to consider. My experience is that while internal mobility is always encouraged, the current climate might mean roles are being scrutinized more closely. Proactively building relationships with hiring managers and highlighting quantifiable achievements that align with potential future needs could be beneficial. Don't underestimate the power of a well-crafted internal application that clearly articulates your value proposition.
