Anyone else feeling the squeeze at Public Storage?

Hey everyone, I've been with Public Storage for a few years now, and things have felt...unsettled lately. There's been a lot of talk and whispers about restructuring and 'efficiency improvements,' which is corporate speak for 'potential cuts.' No official announcements, of course, but the vibe is definitely tense. Been seeing a lot of people looking stressed, and management's been pretty cagey when asked directly. Anyone else in a similar boat or heard any concrete info? Trying to gauge if this is just my department or something broader. Just want to be prepared, you know? Appreciate any insights you guys might have. Feeling a bit in the dark here and it's not a great feeling.

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing at my local Public Storage. Been there for a while and it feels like things are changing. Lots of hushed conversations and general unease among the staff. It's hard not to worry when you hear buzzwords like 'streamlining operations' and 'optimizing resources.' Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes. Hopefully, it doesn't impact customer service too much.

Totally get what you're saying. The atmosphere has definitely shifted. It feels less like a stable place to work and more like something's in flux. Management seems a bit more distant, and there's a palpable tension. I'm hoping whatever 'improvements' they're planning don't negatively affect the people who rely on their services or the employees keeping the place running. Let's hope for transparency soon.
