Is it just me, or has the vibe in the office shifted over the last month? Usually, we’re back-to-back with projects, but things feel weirdly stagnant. Leadership keeps talking about 'operational efficiency' and 'streamlining workflows' in every town hall, which is usually the corporate code for something else. I’ve noticed a few freeze-ups on hiring for open headcount in my department, and the internal chatter about budget tightening is getting louder. I’ve been here for a few years and the atmosphere just feels different—less 'growth' and more 'maintenance mode.' Has anyone heard anything concrete about restructuring, or are we all just waiting for the other shoe to drop? I’m starting to get that nervous itch to update the resume just in case, but I’d rather know if I’m being paranoid or if the writing is actually on the wall. I think everyone is just exhausted from the constant pivots lately. The vibe has definitely shifted, but honestly, I’m just trying to keep my head down and focus on my own tasks for now.
