Hey all, been with PSA for a few years now in the operations side. Lately, there's been a lot of buzz about management reshuffling, particularly at the VP and Director levels. Haven't heard any concrete news about layoffs, but it feels like something is brewing. Performance reviews seemed a bit more intense this year, and there's definitely a quieter vibe around new projects. Anyone else in different departments picking up on this? Curious if this is a company-wide thing or just within certain divisions. Trying to get a sense of the general sentiment before things get too quiet. Is anyone else feeling this undercurrent of change?

I'm on the IT side and haven't directly felt the tremors from those VP/Director level changes, but I've definitely noticed the ripple effect. Communication has been a bit more guarded lately, and project prioritization seems to be shifting more rapidly than usual. It's hard to get a clear picture of the strategic direction when information flow feels restricted. Makes you wonder what the long-term plan is, especially with the increased scrutiny on performance.

From an HR perspective, there's been a noticeable increase in internal restructuring discussions. While nothing has been officially announced regarding widespread layoffs, the emphasis on performance metrics and talent optimization is certainly heightened. We're seeing a push for greater efficiency across the board, which could be a precursor to more significant changes. It’s creating a bit of uncertainty, and people are understandably anxious to understand the implications.
