Anyone else feeling the chill at Raytheon?

Hey everyone, Been working at RTN for a few years now, and lately, the atmosphere feels a bit... tense. Not hearing any concrete news, but there's definitely a low hum of anxiety. Lots of whispers about 'realignments' and 'efficiency drives' in the hallways and on Teams chats. Project funding seems a little tighter in some areas, and I've noticed a few more 'open to discuss opportunities' posts popping up on LinkedIn from folks I know who are still employed here. Is anyone else picking up on this? Any specific divisions or locations feeling it more than others? Just trying to get a pulse on the situation before things potentially get hairy. Trying not to panic, but also trying to be prepared. If anyone has any intel, even anecdotal, would be great to hear it. Just trying to figure out what's really going on behind the scenes.

Yeah, I've felt it too. It's hard to pinpoint, but there's a general sense of unease. Management talks about 'strategic adjustments' but it feels like more than that. The rumor mill is always active, but lately, the whispers seem louder and more persistent. People are definitely looking over their shoulders a bit more than usual.

I'm seeing some of the same things. Certain departments seem to be under more scrutiny, and there's a noticeable increase in meetings that feel more like performance reviews than collaborative sessions. It's the uncertainty that's the most draining part – not knowing if your project is safe or if you're next on the list for 'optimization'.
