Anyone else feeling the pressure at Raytheon?

Hey everyone, been with RTX for a few years now, and things feel... tense. Not hearing any official word about layoffs, but there's definitely a buzz. My team has had a couple of 'reorganizations' lately, and some projects seem to be slowing down or getting cut. Management is being pretty tight-lipped, which just adds to the anxiety. Anyone else in a similar boat? Are you seeing any changes in your department or site? Wondering if it's just my area or a broader company thing. Trying to stay positive, but it's hard not to worry, especially with the current economic climate. Just looking for some shared experiences or insights. Is anyone else preparing for the worst, or is this just a normal ebb and flow in defense?

I've seen similar shifts here. While I haven't heard concrete layoff news, the constant 'optimization' and project reshuffling is definitely unnerving. It feels like there's a constant undercurrent of uncertainty, and the lack of clear communication from leadership doesn't help. Trying to focus on my work, but it's hard not to notice the quiet departures and the way budgets seem to be tightening across the board. It’s definitely a company-wide vibe, I think.

Yeah, that resonates. Been feeling the same pressure, especially with the recent changes in leadership and the focus on integrating different divisions. There's a definite sense of needing to prove value constantly, and it feels like resources are being stretched thinner.
