Hey everyone, new here but I've been lurking for a bit. Seeing a lot of chatter about potential layoffs across different divisions at Raytheon. Nothing official, of course, but the whispers are getting louder. Seems like certain programs are being scaled back, and there's been a noticeable hiring freeze in some departments. Has anyone else heard anything concrete, or is it just general industry anxiety? I'm in [mention a general area, e.g., aerospace engineering] and we've definitely felt a slowdown. Yeah, I've been hearing similar things, though nothing concrete either. It's tough when there's uncertainty like this. My department hasn't seen outright layoffs, but we've definitely seen a slowdown in new projects and a pause on some expansion plans. It's making people nervous, and I'm trying to stay optimistic but it's hard not to worry when you see these kinds of rumors circulating. Hoping it blows over and is just a temporary lull.
