Anyone else feeling the pressure at Realty Income?

Just putting this out there to see if I'm alone. The general vibe around the office has been pretty tense lately. Lots of 'hunkering down' mentality, and the usual cross-departmental communication seems to be getting tighter. It's not like we've had any official announcements or anything, and performance reviews were... well, normal enough. But there's a definite shift in tone. Leadership is talking a lot about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining' operations, which usually translates to more work for fewer people down the line. Seeing a few familiar faces who used to be quite visible now a bit more quiet, less involved in new projects. It could be nothing, and maybe I'm just overthinking it because of the broader economic climate, but it feels like something is brewing. Anyone else picking up on similar signals? Is it just me, or is the internal atmosphere at O changing?

I've been hearing similar whispers. It's hard to pinpoint exactly what's causing the tension, but the 'efficiency' talk definitely rings a bell. Seems like everyone's bracing for something, even without explicit communication. Hopefully, it's just a phase and not a sign of bigger headwinds ahead. Just trying to stay focused on my own work and keep my head down for now.

Interesting you bring this up. My team's noticed it too. There's a subtle shift, a feeling of being on edge, even though nothing concrete has been announced. The focus on streamlining operations is a common corporate buzzword, but the intensity behind it feels different this time. Hoping it's just a temporary measure to navigate market conditions rather than something more concerning.
