Realty Income - What's with the hiring freeze whispers?

Heard through the grapevine that there's an unofficial hiring freeze going on at Realty Income. My manager alluded to 're-evaluating headcount needs' for Q3 and beyond, which is a bit concerning given how busy we've been. It's not just about filling open roles; it's about whether those roles will even exist in six months. No concrete news, of course, just the usual hushed tones and sideways glances. It's always the way things start, right? First the freeze, then the 'performance reviews,' and then...well, you know. Anyone else in a similar boat? Is this a sign of economic caution from O, or are we heading into something more significant? Seems like a lot of companies are doing this right now, but it's always unnerving when it hits your own workplace.

Interesting. I haven't heard anything directly, but it's not surprising given the current economic climate. Lots of companies are tightening their belts. Hopefully, it's just a temporary measure and not a sign of deeper issues. It's definitely something to keep an eye on for those of us on the inside. Keep us posted if you hear anything more concrete.
