Feeling the pressure at Republic Services - Anyone else?

It feels like we're being asked to do more with less across the board here at Republic. My team's workload has significantly increased over the past quarter, but there hasn't been any corresponding increase in staffing or resources. In fact, it feels like any open positions are being left unfilled. Management keeps talking about 'efficiency' and 'productivity gains', but it's translating into longer hours and more stress for those of us on the ground. I'm trying to stay positive, but it's getting tough. Is this a company-wide initiative or am I just in a particularly demanding division? Curious to hear if others are experiencing similar pressures.

I hear you loud and clear. It's the same story on my end. The 'efficiency' talk is getting old when it just means we're drowning. Feels like we're running on fumes trying to keep up. Management seems disconnected from the reality of the daily grind. Hope things ease up for you soon, but I'm not holding my breath.

Completely understand. The pressure is definitely on. Every time a role opens up, it just stays empty, and the rest of us pick up the slack. It's frustrating when the messaging is all about improvement, but the actual experience is just more work and more stress. Just know you're not alone in feeling this way.
