Feeling the pressure at Republic Services

Okay, so maybe I'm just being paranoid, but things feel a bit tense at Republic Services lately. No official word, no emails about impending doom, but the general atmosphere is… off. More meetings than usual, hushed conversations, and a general feeling of 'keeping your head down.' I've seen a few people looking more stressed than usual, and it's hard not to connect that to the economic climate and general industry trends. I'm in operations, and we're always hearing about optimizing routes and reducing fuel costs, but this feels different, more strategic. Is anyone else picking up on this? Or am I just overthinking things because it's been a while since we've had any big shake-ups? Just want to know if I'm alone in feeling this unease. Hoping for the best, but preparing for… well, you know.

I've noticed a similar vibe over here in fleet maintenance. Lots of extra check-ins and a focus on 'efficiency' that feels a bit more intense than usual.
