Republic Services - Anyone else seeing slowdowns or hiring freezes?

Long-time Republic employee here. Curious to know if others are experiencing a noticeable slowdown in hiring for open positions or if there's an informal hiring freeze in place. We had a few roles open up a couple of months back that are still unfilled, and the typical process seems to be stalled. On top of that, some of my colleagues have mentioned that certain projects are being put on the back burner due to 'resource reallocation'. It's not outright layoffs, but it feels like the company is tightening its belt. Just wondering if this is a company-wide thing or if it's localized. Trying to get a sense of the overall financial health and future direction. Any intel would be helpful.
