Just saw the official notification filed for the California branch. Looks like 81 positions are being cut effective August 1st. If you’re in that region, keep an eye on your email or your manager’s calendar. My experience from previous rounds here is that they don’t give you much of a heads-up before the doors are locked. If you’re currently on the chopping block, start documenting your projects and downloading any personal files you might need immediately. Don’t wait for them to give you the signal, because once that meeting invite hits your calendar, IT will likely have your credentials wiped within ten minutes. It’s brutal, but that’s how they operate. Make sure you get whatever severance paperwork they offer reviewed before signing anything, especially if you have pending commissions or accrued vacation time that they might try to stiff you on. Stay strong out there; this isn't a reflection of your hard work, just bad management priorities at the top.

That is brutal. Dealing with Reyes is always a gamble, and the 'doors locked' approach they take is honestly disrespectful to everyone who has put in the work. I’ve seen them do this before, and waiting for HR to tell you what to do is a mistake. Save your performance reviews, client contacts, and any non-proprietary professional achievements now. If you think you might be on the list, don't wait for the invite to a meeting that ends your career there. Get your personal ducks in a row today before they cut off your portal access.

Thanks for sharing the update. It’s a tough situation for anyone affected, but unfortunately, it’s not surprising given the current climate. I worked there a few years ago and the communication was just as poor. My best advice for those getting the news is to file for unemployment immediately and reach out to your network before the news hits LinkedIn. People are usually happy to help if you frame it right. Take the rest of the day to process, but update your resume first thing tomorrow. You deserve better than how they handle these transitions.
