Anyone else feel the culture shift post-All Hands?

Is it just me, or does the vibe in the office feel significantly heavier after the last All Hands? I’ve been here for a couple of years, and the usual 'build the metaverse' optimism feels like it’s being replaced by this weird, clinical focus on 'headcount efficiency' and 'output velocity.' My manager keeps stressing that we need to be lean, but I feel like we’re already stretched to the breaking point. It’s hard to stay focused on shipping features when everyone is constantly glancing over their shoulders, waiting for the other shoe to drop. Has anyone heard any actual chatter about budget cuts or a potential re-org, or are we all just collectively spiraling because the stock performance has been stagnant? I’d rather know if the writing is on the wall so I can start updating my portfolio now instead of wasting energy on projects that might get sunsetted by Q3 anyway.

It’s definitely noticeable. The shift from creative vision to pure metrics is draining the life out of the work. We used to talk about community impact and new mechanics, but now every conversation is about optimization and cost-cutting. It feels like the company is pivoting to satisfy investors rather than players, and unfortunately, the atmosphere reflects that shift. You aren't imagining the tension; it's a direct result of leadership forcing a more corporate, cold environment on a team that used to be driven by actual innovation.
