Heard some worrying whispers about a restructuring... anyone else?

Okay, so I've been at Roblox for almost 4 years now, on the Engine team. Things have felt... weird lately. A lot of closed-door meetings that my manager is attending, and the vibe in the office is definitely off. I overheard snippets about 'resource allocation' and 'streamlining.' I'm trying not to freak out, but it feels a lot like the prelude to layoffs. Has anyone else picked up on anything similar in their departments? Am I just being paranoid, or is something actually brewing? I know the stock hasn't been doing amazingly, which makes me even more nervous. Would love to hear if anyone else has any insights or rumors.

Okay, yeah, I'm in a different department, but I've definitely felt a similar shift. The 'resource allocation' phrase is a classic red flag. I remember when my previous company started using that term – boom, layoffs three months later. Start updating your resume, just in case. Honestly, I think you might be jumping the gun a bit. Roblox has seen massive growth, and with that comes growing pains. Restructuring isn't always a bad thing; sometimes it's just about making things more efficient. Four years in Engine? You're valuable. Try talking to your manager directly. Clear communication can ease a lot of anxiety. Don't panic until you have concrete evidence.
