Stock performance vs. reality on the floor

Is anyone else feeling like the disconnect between the market hype and what’s actually happening in the labs is getting wider by the day? The stock is doing its thing, but internally it feels like we’re running on fumes. I’ve been hearing a lot of 'efficiency' talk from management lately, which usually translates to 'cutting headcount' in corporate speak. It’s starting to feel like we’re being pushed to do the work of three people just to keep the launch cadence up, but for what? To hit some arbitrary quarterly target before the next round of trim-the-fat initiatives? The pressure to maintain this pace is insane, and the total lack of transparency regarding our actual runway is making the coffee machine rumors go wild. If they’re planning a RIF, they need to just rip the band-aid off so we can stop guessing every time a leader walks into the room.

That feeling of disconnect is honestly everywhere right now. Management loves to talk about scaling and 'streamlined operations,' but when you're the one on the floor feeling the burnout, it just sounds like code for burnout and impossible deadlines. Everyone is chasing the stock narrative, but they forget that launches don't happen because of ticker symbols—they happen because of the people actually turning the wrenches. If they push too hard for that cadence without giving us the breathing room, something is eventually going to give. They need to start prioritizing sustainability over quarterly projections before morale craters completely.
