Are we preparing for changes at Rockwell?

So, I've been with Rockwell for a few years now, and lately, it feels like we're in a holding pattern. There's been a lot of talk about restructuring and 'optimizing our workforce' in various internal comms, but nothing concrete. I haven't seen any official layoff announcements, but the budget discussions in my division have been pretty tight, and there's been a freeze on a lot of new hires that were previously approved. Just wondering if anyone has heard any whispers or has any insider info about potential upcoming changes. Trying to stay informed and prepare, you know? It's the not knowing that's the hardest part. Anyone else in a similar boat or have any intel to share?

I'm feeling a similar vibe. Been here about the same amount of time and the 'optimizing' buzzwords are definitely everywhere. It's creating a lot of uncertainty, which isn't great for morale. Hoping whatever changes are coming are handled with transparency and support for employees. Just the silence and the tight budgets are making people anxious, which is understandable. Would be good to hear some clear direction, even if it's difficult news.

The internal comms have been a bit vague lately, haven't they? While I haven't personally seen or heard of any major layoffs, the hiring freeze and the general cautiousness in spending are definitely noticeable. It makes sense to be prepared for shifts in the market and the industry, but the lack of concrete information is what's causing the speculation. Let's hope for clear communication soon.
