Morale check at Rockwell - anyone else seeing changes?

Hey everyone, been with Rockwell for a few years now, and lately, things just feel... different. It's not anything concrete I can point to, no official announcements or anything, but there's a definite shift in the air. Meetings feel more intense, there's a lot of talk about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining' that sounds a bit ominous. Used to be a lot more collaborative, now it feels like everyone's a bit more on edge, watching their backs. Has anyone else picked up on this? Are other departments feeling it too, or is it just my area? Curious if this is a company-wide vibe or if I'm just in a particularly stressed silo. Trying to gauge if I should be more concerned about the future here.

Yeah, I've noticed it too. Seems like there's a lot more pressure to hit numbers and less room for creative problem-solving. The 'streamlining' talk definitely feels like it could mean layoffs or a significant restructuring down the line. It's unsettling, to say the least. I'm trying to stay positive and focus on my work, but it's hard not to feel a bit anxious about the future. Hope it's just a temporary phase and things settle back down soon.

Interesting that you bring this up. I've been in a different department, but I've heard similar whispers. The energy definitely feels different, more high-strung. People are being a lot more careful about what they say and do. It’s a shame, because the collaborative spirit is what made Rockwell a great place to work for so long. I'm hoping management is just trying to navigate some tough market conditions and it’s not a sign of deeper issues.
