Anyone else feeling super uneasy this week?

I'm in engineering, been here almost 5 years. Just a weird vibe this week. Lots of closed-door meetings, the VP has been walking around looking stressed, and my manager has been totally unavailable. Maybe it's nothing, but I remember this feeling from my last job before they announced layoffs. Anyone else picking up on anything similar, or am I just being paranoid?

Definitely feeling it too. Marketing here, and our department head suddenly pulled all vacation requests for the next quarter 'due to upcoming initiatives.' That's never happened before. Plus, seeing some higher-ups I haven't seen in ages wandering around. Could be nothing, but yeah, the atmosphere is thick enough to cut with a knife.

Honestly, you might be overthinking it. End of the quarter is always hectic. VPs *always* look stressed. Managers are *always* unavailable. Maybe someone just screwed up a major project and everyone's scrambling to fix it. I'd wait and see what next week brings before hitting the panic button. Don't borrow trouble.
