It's completely understandable to feel that way. The atmosphere after significant layoffs can be incredibly draining. The increased workload on top of the uncertainty is a tough combination. Remember to focus on your own contributions and look for opportunities that align with your skills, regardless of the company's current situation. Sometimes, these periods can also lead to unexpected growth or new directions you hadn't considered before.
That "walking on eggshells" feeling is so real and it's a shame that's the current vibe. It sounds like a lot of added pressure. Hopefully, leadership will start communicating a clearer vision soon to ease some of those anxieties. In the meantime, try to find small wins and maintain connections with supportive colleagues. That can make a big difference in navigating these challenging times.
