Feeling the pressure at RPM - thoughts on current climate?

Curious to hear from others at RPM about the general vibe. Feels like resources are stretched pretty thin, and there's a lot of talk about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining' in internal comms, which always makes me nervous. We're hitting targets, but the pressure to do more with less seems to be ramping up significantly. I'm wondering if this is a company-wide thing or if it's specific to certain departments or acquisitions. It's tough to get a clear picture when communication from the top is pretty corporate-speak heavy. Just wondering if anyone else is feeling this, or if I'm just overthinking it. It's hard to plan for the future when you're not sure what that future looks like, especially if there's a possibility of downsizing. Anyone else in a similar boat?

Definitely feeling the squeeze across the board. The 'efficiency' talk is constant, and it's hard not to feel the undercurrent of increased expectations. While we're still delivering results, the pace and demands are definitely higher than I remember. Makes you wonder about the long-term sustainability of this approach, or if it's just a cyclical thing tied to market conditions.

I hear you. It seems like this 'more with less' mantra is pervasive. While I appreciate the drive for operational excellence, the constant messaging around 'streamlining' can be a bit unsettling, especially when workloads aren't decreasing proportionally. Hoping for some clearer communication soon about the strategic direction behind these initiatives and what it means for us day-to-day.
