Another layoff, another round of 'why'

So, June 9th. Another layoff. This is getting ridiculous. Business Insider reported it, but honestly, at this point, it's almost expected. What's the actual strategy here? Are they restructuring? Offshoring like some articles suggest? Trying to cut costs because of AI? It’s hard to reconcile the constant news about layoffs with the company’s supposed growth. I’m not directly impacted this time, but I know people who were. It’s demoralizing. You put in the work, you hit your numbers, and then boom. Gone. Is anyone else just frustrated beyond belief? Feels like we’re just cogs in a machine that’s constantly being reconfigured, and we’re the ones getting replaced when the configuration changes. My manager tried to put a positive spin on it, but it’s hard to buy. Feels like a rant, I know, but I'm genuinely exhausted by this cycle.

It's tough seeing this pattern repeat. The disconnect between the reported growth and these ongoing reductions is hard to ignore. It really chips away at morale when people dedicate themselves to the company, only to face this uncertainty. Makes you wonder about long-term stability and the real drivers behind these decisions. Hoping for clarity soon for those affected.

The cycle of layoffs is definitely concerning, and the lack of clear communication about the strategy behind them only adds to the anxiety. It's disheartening to hear about colleagues being impacted, especially when performance is strong. You hope for a more stable environment where hard work is consistently rewarded and future plans are transparent.
