Yeah, it's incredibly jarring when it feels like there's no rhyme or reason to it. My group wasn't directly hit, but the uncertainty and anxiety are palpable across the entire org. People are looking over their shoulders, and the trust in leadership definitely takes a hit. The lack of clear communication makes it even worse – makes you wonder if you're next, regardless of your contributions.
Totally blindsided is the right word. My team was performing well, we just closed a huge deal, and then suddenly a few key people were out. The 'restructuring' narrative feels hollow when you're seeing high performers disappear without explanation. It's demoralizing and makes it tough to stay motivated when your job security feels so precarious and based on opaque decisions.
