Are Offshoring & Layoffs the New Normal at Salesforce?

Reading more about the recent Salesforce layoffs and the news about hiring more overseas to save money. It's a bit disheartening to see. We work hard, put in the hours, and then hear about jobs being moved elsewhere to cut costs. It feels like a race to the bottom sometimes. This isn't just Salesforce, obviously, but it's a huge company and it sets a tone. Makes you question job security and the company's commitment to its current workforce. Is this just the reality of the cloud business now? Anyone else feel this way? It's tough when you see the big picture and it feels like you're just a number that can be swapped out for cheaper labor elsewhere. Trying to stay optimistic but it's hard.
