We were told to embrace new tech, become more efficient, and now that we've done that, it's 'we need fewer heads.' Feels like a convenient narrative to justify cost-cutting, especially with news about hiring overseas too. Anyone else feel like the 'efficiency' argument is just a smokescreen? It's disheartening to see talented people let go because the company's definition of 'efficiency' has changed overnight.
