Is anyone else feeling the AI impact firsthand at Salesforce?

Reading about the latest Salesforce layoffs, and the news keeps mentioning AI as a driver. They're saying 'need less heads' because of it. It's hard to wrap my head around. On one hand, AI is supposed to be the future, and efficiency gains are important. But on the other, seeing thousands of people, many of them skilled and experienced, lose their jobs because of it feels... dystopian. We're encouraged to adopt new tech, and now that tech is apparently replacing us. It makes me wonder about the long-term career path here and the company's commitment to its workforce. Is anyone else feeling like their role might be on the chopping block due to AI integration? What are people's thoughts on how Salesforce is handling this transition?

It's definitely a tough pill to swallow. We're all pushing to innovate and leverage new tools, but when that leads to job insecurity for so many, it raises serious questions about the path forward. Hope those affected land on their feet quickly.

I hear you. It feels like a whirlwind trying to keep up with the pace of change. While I understand the need for business optimization, the human cost is significant and can't be ignored. Makes you think about career paths and the skills that will truly be valued.
