Totally feel you. That email hit like a ton of bricks for a lot of us too. It's incredibly demoralizing when you've dedicated yourself and feel like your contributions just don't matter. The silence from management is deafening and really makes you wonder about the values the company supposedly upholds. It's hard to stay motivated when you feel like a disposable asset rather than a valued team member. This situation has definitely sparked some serious reconsideration about where my career is headed.
It's rough out there, man. That feeling of being blindsided is the worst, especially after putting in the effort and thinking you're on solid ground. The lack of communication is what really stings – makes you feel like you're just a line item on a P&L sheet. It's a tough pill to swallow when the people who helped build the company are treated this way. Hang in there, and hopefully, you can find a place that truly values your hard work and dedication.
