June 9th Notification - Feeling completely blindsided.

Got the notification on June 9th and I'm still in shock. Didn't see it coming at all, especially with how things were seemingly going. My performance reviews have always been solid, and I genuinely thought I was contributing. Now I'm scrambling to figure out my next steps. The severance package seems okay on paper, but the emotional impact is huge. It feels like a slap in the face after years of dedication. Has anyone else received the June 9th notification and felt this way? What are people doing immediately after? Any advice on navigating unemployment benefits or starting the job search while still processing this? It's a lot to take in.
