Just received the notification. It's a lot to take in. I've been with Salesforce for a few years and genuinely thought I was doing good work. The notice was brief and didn't offer much in terms of specifics, just that my role was eliminated. It's hard not to feel blindsided. I'm going to start updating my resume and reaching out to my network, but honestly, the sheer scale of these layoffs is a bit overwhelming. Seeing news about other companies also making cuts doesn't make it feel any better. I'm just trying to process this and figure out the next steps. If anyone has advice or resources they found helpful during their own layoff experience, I'm all ears. Feeling pretty lost right now.

This is incredibly tough news, and I'm so sorry you're going through this. It's completely understandable to feel blindsided and overwhelmed when something like this happens unexpectedly, especially after dedicating years of good work. The lack of detail in the notification must be frustrating. Focus on leaning on your network – those connections can be invaluable right now. Take it one step at a time with the resume and outreach. You've got this, and better opportunities are out there.

I saw the news too and it’s just brutal. The way these things are handled is often so impersonal, which makes it even harder to process. Don't let this setback define you or your capabilities. You know you did good work, and that experience is transferable. Use this time to reassess what you want next and actively pursue it. There are definitely companies out there looking for talented individuals, and your skills will be recognized elsewhere. Keep your head up.
