Got the dreaded email this morning. June 9th layoff. My entire team was part of it. It feels surreal. We were told it was due to organizational changes and some role consolidation. The severance package details are coming through, but honestly, it's hard to focus on that right now. The main thing is the shock and the sudden void. We'd heard rumors, of course, but seeing it actually happen is different. I'm trying to stay composed, but it's a tough pill to swallow. Has anyone been through this recently? What's the process like for accessing outplacement services and making unemployment claims? Any advice on navigating the next few weeks would be appreciated.
