Offshoring is clearly the endgame now

Is anyone else tired of the leadership pretending this is about 'efficiency' rather than just replacing us with cheaper labor overseas? We keep hearing about the push for AI integration, but look at the actual trajectory. Every time they talk about 'aligning resources,' it translates to more roles being shifted to lower-cost regions while the leadership team talks about how 'innovative' our platform is. I’ve seen three rounds of cuts in my department alone, and every single time, the work ends up going to contractors or offshore teams who aren't even given the same tools or training. It feels like they're just stripping the company for parts to inflate the stock price. The culture is completely dead. We used to be a place people wanted to retire at; now everyone is just updating their resume every six months waiting for the inevitable axe. At this point, I’m just trying to hit my next vest date before the next inevitable re-org.

It’s a brutal reality check. We’ve watched the culture shift from prioritizing customer success to just trimming the bottom line at any cost. Every 'restructuring' announcement feels less like a strategic move and more like a slow-motion exit strategy. When you see your own projects being transitioned to teams thousands of miles away, the 'One Salesforce' messaging starts to feel pretty hollow. The institutional knowledge is walking out the door with every layoff, and eventually, the quality of the product is going to pay the price for these short-term gains.

I honestly think the leadership stopped caring about the actual employee experience years ago. They’re chasing margin expansion to keep the stock price propped up, and unfortunately, we’re just the easiest line item to cut to make the quarterly numbers look better. It’s frustrating to sit through those town halls where they talk about global integration while we’re busy training our replacements. Everyone knows what's happening behind the curtain; it’s just exhausting to keep pretending that these moves are about anything other than slashing payroll.
