The 'Ohana' branding has always felt like a calculated distraction, but seeing it weaponized while people lose their livelihoods during the holidays is a new low. It’s clear that the leadership team prioritizes short-term stock performance over the actual talent that built this company. Those 125 people in Ridgefield Park were dedicated employees who helped maintain the internal systems everyone relies on. Watching them get tossed aside with no notice after years of service proves that loyalty is a one-way street here. Morale is cratering, and the constant fear of the next round of cuts is making it impossible to focus on actual work.
I’m not even surprised anymore. It feels like these layoffs are becoming a permanent feature of our quarterly cycle rather than a response to legitimate business needs. Every time they announce another 'efficiency' initiative, the rest of us just hold our breath waiting for the next calendar invite to pop up out of nowhere. The culture has shifted so dramatically from what it used to be. It’s become a cold, transactional environment where you’re just a line item on a spreadsheet to be deleted whenever the margins need a slight boost.
