Salesforce layoffs - is this the new normal?

Just saw the news about the latest round of layoffs on June 9th. It's hard to believe. Feels like every few months there's another announcement. Are we just supposed to get used to this? It makes it really hard to plan anything long-term, both professionally and personally. My team is mostly intact, thankfully, but the uncertainty is palpable. People are quiet, nervous. Saw some posts on HN about Resume Rescue AI and AI replacing jobs, which adds another layer of anxiety. Plus, the RTO mandate is still looming. It feels like the company is trying to squeeze every last drop of efficiency out of us, and if we're not efficient enough, we're out. Just wondering how everyone else is coping with this constant instability.
