Okay, so the news is out about the 3000 cuts on June 17th. I'm still trying to process it all. Feels like a punch to the gut, honestly. I've been with SAP for a while now, and while I wasn't directly affected this time, I know so many people who were. The vibe in the virtual hallways is just… off. Lots of whispers and speculation about who's next and what the real strategy is behind this. Is it really about restructuring for the cloud, or is there something else going on? Anyone else in a similar boat, trying to make sense of it all? Curious to hear what people are hearing on the ground, if anything specific beyond the official statements.

This is rough news for everyone. It's completely understandable to feel blindsided and worried, even if you weren't directly impacted. The uncertainty is the worst part, and the lack of clear communication just fuels the rumors. Hopefully, the company will provide more transparency soon about the long-term vision and how these changes fit into it. Hang in there, and look out for your colleagues.

Yeah, the atmosphere is definitely heavy. It's hard to focus on work when so many people you know and respect are going through this. I've heard a few things, but honestly, it's all just hearsay at this point. The cloud transition is a big push, no doubt, but the scale of these cuts feels significant. Hoping for a clearer picture soon and wishing everyone the best during this challenging time.
