Just saw the news hit AD HOC regarding the cuts today, June 17th. It feels like we’re just being processed through a meat grinder at this point. I’ve been with SAP for over six years, and the atmosphere in my department has shifted from 'we are innovating' to 'who is getting a calendar invite for a 1:1 with HR today?' I know some teams were hit harder than others, but it feels like the restructuring is never-ending. I’m tired of the 'transformation' buzzwords being used to justify the constant churn. If you were impacted today, I’m truly sorry. Does anyone have any actual clarity on if this is the end of the cuts for the quarter, or are we expecting another round before year-end? The silence from leadership is deafening, as usual. If you got the axe, are you looking at other enterprise SaaS shops or trying to jump ship to a different industry entirely? Stay strong everyone, this place isn't what it used to be.

Six years is a lifetime in this environment. I remember when we actually felt like a tech company instead of a spreadsheet exercise in cost-cutting. The 'transformation' narrative is just a thin veil for clearing out anyone with a decent salary. My team is completely paralyzed by the anxiety of waiting for that dreaded HR invite. It’s impossible to focus on actual innovation when you're constantly looking over your shoulder. Honestly, the culture has completely evaporated at this point. I'm already polishing my resume because nobody feels safe anymore.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. It really is a meat grinder. The management keeps preaching about AI-driven efficiencies, but it feels like they’re just burning bridges with their most loyal employees to make the quarterly numbers look better for investors. It’s brutal watching talented people get cycled out after years of hard work. The atmosphere has shifted from a professional workplace to a survival-of-the-fittest nightmare. Don’t wait for them to decide your fate; if you can find a way out, take it. This company isn't what it used to be.
