Wanted to share my experience. I was one of the employees let go by SAP recently, effective June 17, 2026. It was definitely a shock, even though you hear the rumors. The notification was brief, and the severance package details are still sinking in. I've been with SAP for several years, working in [mention a general department like 'product development' or 'customer support'], and I thought I was in a stable position. The reason given was a 'reorganization to streamline operations.' It feels impersonal and leaves you with a lot of questions. I'm starting to update my resume and reach out to my network, but it's a tough process.
