Okay, so the news hit about the layoffs on June 17th, supposedly around 3000 people gone. I'm still here, and honestly, the workload feels... intense. It's like they expected things to just magically keep running at the same pace. Anyone else in a similar boat? My team's projects have definitely ramped up, and it feels like we're constantly playing catch-up. Trying to figure out if this is a temporary crunch or the new normal. Are other departments feeling this too? Wondering if management is underestimating the capacity of the remaining staff or if this is some kind of deliberate 'efficiency' push that's just going to burn us out. Curious to hear if anyone has insight into how specific teams were impacted and how that's affecting the day-to-day.

Yeah, definitely feeling that crunch. It's like they expect the remaining folks to absorb the work of those who left without any adjustment to timelines or expectations. We're constantly firefighting and pushing deadlines. It's exhausting, and frankly, unsustainable. Hoping it's just a temporary shock to the system while they re-evaluate, but it’s hard to see how things won’t be permanently strained with fewer resources. Management really needs to address this head-on before burnout becomes widespread.
