Just confirming the reports that came out today, June 17th. SAP has indeed let go of approximately 3000 employees globally. This seems to be tied into the ongoing strategic realignment and a push towards cloud-based solutions, as many of us have suspected. The impact appears to be across various departments, though specific details are still emerging. For those impacted, I'm truly sorry. This is never easy news to receive, and the uncertainty that follows is significant. For those remaining, it's natural to feel anxious. We're seeing significant shifts in the enterprise software landscape, and companies like ours are adapting, often through painful workforce adjustments. Keep an eye on official communications and peer experiences to understand the full scope of this event.

This is really tough news. My thoughts go out to everyone affected by this. It's a difficult time, and the industry is constantly evolving, which can lead to these kinds of shifts. Hoping for the best for all those navigating this transition.

Hard to see this happen. Always a shock when these kinds of numbers come out. The focus on cloud does make sense strategically, but it's a painful way to achieve those goals. Hope the company provides adequate support for those leaving.
