SAP's Cloud Push: Justifying the Recent 3000 Layoffs?

So, the news is out - another round of layoffs at SAP, around 3000 people. The official line, as usual, is 'restructuring' and 'focusing on growth areas'. But is it really just about pivoting harder to the cloud? Feels like a lot of us are being pushed out to make room for... what exactly? More cloud engineers? Are they hoping the remaining workforce can just absorb the work? I've been hearing whispers about certain teams being hit harder than others, especially those not directly tied to the cloud business. Is anyone else in these supposedly 'less critical' areas feeling the heat? Just trying to get a sense of the real strategy here beyond the corporate speak.
