Sempra - Anyone else feeling the budget crunch?

Lately, it feels like every expense is getting scrutinized with a magnifying glass at Sempra. Budget requests that would have been rubber-stamped a year ago are now facing intense questioning. Travel is basically frozen unless it's absolutely mission-critical, and even then, it's a hassle to get approved. We've also seen a significant slowdown in new project initiatives, with a lot of 'wait and see' messaging. It's creating a lot of uncertainty and making it hard to plan long-term. Curious if this is company-wide or just in certain divisions. Anyone else experiencing this level of fiscal tightening?

Definitely feeling it too. The freeze on non-essential travel is a real drag, and it's making collaboration across departments way harder than it used to be. We're seeing a lot of projects get put on the back burner, which is frustrating when you're trying to innovate and move forward. The uncertainty is palpable, and it's tough to stay motivated when you're not sure what the next quarter holds.

Yeah, the budget scrutiny is intense. Seems like every dollar needs to be justified multiple times over. I've had to really dig deep to explain the ROI on even basic operational needs. It's understandable given the economic climate, but it does slow things down considerably. Hoping this is a temporary phase and we can get back to a more growth-oriented mindset soon.
