Sempra - Anyone else feeling the 'quiet quitting' creep in?

Alright, let's be real. Workload feels heavier, but the sense of urgency or 'fire in the belly' seems to be diminishing across the board. It's not overt, nobody's slacking off to the point of getting fired, but there's a definite 'just enough' vibe creeping in. People are less likely to go the extra mile, meetings are dragging, and there's a general undercurrent of 'why bother?'. Is this just general burnout, or are others feeling like the motivation has been sucked out of things? I'm personally trying to stay engaged and deliver, but it's tough when you feel like you're rowing upstream alone. Anyone else feeling this dip in overall energy and enthusiasm? Curious if it's widespread or just my corner of the company.

Totally get what you're saying. It feels like people are just going through the motions more often than not. That spark that used to make people eager to contribute or solve problems seems to have faded. It's not necessarily about doing less work, but the willingness to invest that extra energy or creative thought just isn't there. It's a subtle shift, but you notice it when you're looking for that proactive engagement and it's just... missing. Makes you wonder what's behind it all, if it's just fatigue or something more systemic impacting morale.

I've noticed it too, though I'm not sure if 'quiet quitting' is the right term. It feels more like a collective sigh of resignation. People are doing their jobs, but the passion and enthusiasm that used to be present seem to have evaporated. There's a real lack of initiative, and the 'if it's not in my job description, I won't touch it' mentality is becoming more prevalent. It's a bummer, honestly, because it affects the overall team dynamic and productivity. Makes you wonder if there's a disconnect between what management expects and what employees feel is reasonable.
