Sempra - Anyone tracking internal hiring freezes?

Hi all, I've been trying to keep an eye on internal job postings and movement within Sempra. It feels like there's been a noticeable slowdown in new requisitions being opened up, and even internal transfers seem to be on hold or taking much longer to process. I know we haven't had any official announcements, but this internal hiring pause, if that's what it is, feels like a pretty significant indicator. Has anyone else noticed this? Are you seeing fewer new roles posted in your areas, or are your managers talking about a hiring freeze even for critical positions? Trying to understand the bigger picture beyond just my immediate team's workload. Any insights would be appreciated.

I've definitely felt the chill on this side of things too. Roles that would normally be posted quickly seem to be sitting in limbo, and even conversations about backfilling positions aren't yielding much concrete movement. It's creating a bit of uncertainty, especially when you're looking to grow within the company. Hopefully, it's a temporary blip and not a sign of larger issues down the line.

Interesting you bring this up. I haven't seen any official word, but the grapevine suggests some departments are definitely tightening up on external hires and slowing down internal movements. My team had a few roles we were hoping to fill internally that have just kind of evaporated from the pipeline. It’s making it harder to plan for upcoming projects when you can't bring in the necessary talent. Let's hope for some clarity soon.
