Sempra - Budget cuts starting to sting?

Hey everyone, been at Sempra for a few years now and things are definitely feeling… different. Over the last couple of quarters, I've noticed budget approvals taking way longer, and some of the smaller projects I was involved in have been shelved indefinitely. It's not just my team either, I've heard similar stories from folks in other departments. Anyone else seeing this kind of tightening across the board? Makes me wonder if we're heading for a bigger shake-up down the line, or if it's just a normal economic cycle thing. Trying not to panic, but the subtle shifts are hard to ignore.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed the slowdown on approvals. It feels like every dollar is being scrutinized now. We've had a couple of initiatives get put on the back burner too, and it's making it tough to plan longer-term. Definitely a shift from how things were even a year or two ago. Hopefully, it's just a temporary adjustment and not a sign of bigger issues.

I can confirm the budget tightening. Seems like a company-wide trend. Cross-departmental projects are facing delays, and resource allocation is much more conservative. It's creating a bit of uncertainty about where things are headed. Curious to see if management addresses this openly or if it's just something we have to navigate internally.
